This is the final piece.
You know the Math (Part 1).
You know the Strategy (Part 2).
You have the System (Part 3).
Now, we talk about Friction.
Friction is the reason you aren’t posting.
“My camera battery is dead.”
“I don’t know how to color grade.”
“I need to transfer the files.”
Stop it.
The 80/20 Gear Rule
I use action cameras and iPhones.
Why? Because I do not give a crap about shutter speed, ISO, or white balance. I am sure that stuff is super cool, but I run a business. I don’t have the bandwidth to care about F-stops….
Seriously… GoPro go beep level camera expert here… if knowing that means your good… I don’t really care still, because I get paid from people who want me to run a forestry mulcher, not record a documentary. You do to so stop focusing on the tech other than what you’re good at using. That’s all that matters. Mac vs PC FECON vs Diamond CAT vs EVERYONE Else FORD vs Dumb People… right.. there’s always something better, there’s always another option. Don’t get distracted. The goal is customers. NOT shooting in 8k. I don’t own a single screen that even plays 8k I don’t think. I don’t even know if I have any HDMI cables that can run 8k even lol.
I want 80% of the quality for 20% of the effort.
My Protocol:
Company iPhone: All source files in one place. No SD cards to lose in the mud. TreeShop is upgrading all our phones from iPhone 13 to the new iPhone17 Pro Max. I’ll drop content on this, why, and how we set up our iPhones for business—( to the Founding Members. )
Audio: If you buy one thing, buy a mic. Bad video is watchable; bad audio is unwatchable. Whatever phone you have is good enough video. The audio sucks on everything.
Kit: If you shoot in Florida, get sunglasses for the lens. If you shoot in Alaska, insulate the batteries. Content Loadout’s are specific to the Operator.
The Timeline of Success
You are going to suck at this at first.
Accept it.
“You can earn or learn.” — Alex Hormozi.
If you are in the season of learning, don’t expect to earn immediately. You don’t plant a tree and chop it down the next day.
Most people fail because they have an emotional response to a logical problem.
Emotional: “I posted 3 times and got no leads. This doesn’t work.”
Logical: “I haven’t put enough volume into the market to get statistical significance.”
I am building this in public.
For the next few months, I am focusing 100% of my content on the 20% of my business that drives revenue.
I am testing these theories on myself and the Founding Members’ companies are all encouraged to join in as well.

Dumb jokes are still funny so if you fail, it might still be funny. Trigger smooth brains at least! #motivation
